Thame Players Theatre Company is a popular amateur dramatics group which owns and runs the only dedicated theatre in Thame. We offer a varied range of productions, from serious theatre to comedy and pantomime, including our own shows, visiting acts, and film screenings hosted by Thame Cinema for All.
Thame Players Theatre Company is a registered charity and the theatre is run entirely by volunteers. It makes a significant contribution to the cultural life of the local community.
Thame Players are fundraising to make improvements to the theatre. This includes building work to the front wall, window spaces and entranceway, to improve the theatre frontage and make it more attractive within a conservation area. We also need to make improvements to the foyer, and introduce more up-to-date lighting and sound equipment. We have set a target of £50,000 to be raised by the end of 2018.
We need your help so that we can improve the quality of our facilities and the entertainment we provide.
Thank you so much for your support and good luck!
